Question answering over temporal knowledge graphs (TKGQA) has attracted great attentions in natural language processing community. One of the key challenges is how to effectively model the representations of questions and the candidate answers associated with timestamp constraints. Many existing methods attempt to learn temporal knowledge graph embedding for entities, relations and timestamps. However, these existing methods cannot effectively exploiting temporal knowledge graph embeddings to capture time intervals (e.g., "WWII" refers to 1939-1945) as well as temporal relation words (e.g., "first" and "last") appeared in complex questions, resulting in the sub-optimal results. In this paper, we propose a temporal-sensitive information for complex question answering (TSIQA) framework to tackle these problems. We employ two alternative approaches to augment questions embeddings with question-specific time interval information, which consists of specific start and end timestamps. We also present auxiliary contrastive learning to contrast the answer prediction and prior knowledge regarding time approximation for questions that only differ by the temporal relation words. To evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed method, we conduct the experiments on CRONQUESTION. The results show that our proposed model achieves better improvements over the state-of-the-art models that require multiple steps of reasoning.

With the application and penetration of Internet, artificial intelligence and other technologies in education, promote the development of education to the direction of intelligence. Information & communication technology( ICT) ability is a necessary professional ability for teachers in the era of wisdom education. In this study, a six-factor structure model of teachers' ICT ability was constructed. This study takes primary and secondary school teachers in Chi District, Chi City, a demonstration area of smart education, as the research object to explore the influence of gender, age, teaching age, professional title and educational background on teachers' ICT ability. The results show that age, teaching age and professional title have significant influence on teachers' ICT ability. The number of information-based training and teaching and research affects teachers' ICT ability. On this basis, suggestions are put forward to improve teachers' ICT ability, aiming at improving teachers' ICT ability in intelligent environment from various aspects.

In real academic networks, there exist multiple types of entities(authors, papers, terms, conferences) and links between them. Therefore, the academic networks are generally considered as heterogeneous information networks(HINs). Existing collaborator recommendation methods in heterogeneous networks are generally based on the embeddings of nodes and links with respect to some given meta-paths. However, they seldom learn meta-paths representations which can provide important interaction information. What's more, the impact of different meta-paths on recommendation are neglected. In order to deal with these unsolved problems, we propose an attention based collaborator recommendation method in the setting of heterogeneous academic networks. Firstly, we select some meta-paths according to the HIN schema. Secondly, the embeddings of nodes and meta-path instances are generated by employing the Skip-gram and Convolutional Neural Network(CNN) models respectively. Thirdly, the attention mechanism is devised to integrate the multiple sources of embeddings so as to produce the author representations and meta-path based context representations. Finally, the Multi-Layer Perceptron is utilized for recommendation task. Comparative experiments conducted on the DBLP dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method.

The Euclidean projection operation is the most complex and time-consuming of the alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) decoding algorithms, resulting in a large number of resources when deployed on hardware platforms. We propose a simplified line segment projection algorithm (SLSA) and present the hardware design and the quantization scheme of the SLSA. In simulation results, the proposed SLSA module has a better performance than the original algorithm with the same fixed bitwidths due to the centrosymmetric structure of SLSA. Furthermore, the proposed SLSA module with a simpler structure without hypercube projection can reduce time consuming by up to 72.2% and reduce hardware resource usage by more than 87% compared to other Euclidean projection modules in the experiments.

Microservice is an architecture style that decomposes complex software into loosely coupled services, which could be developed, maintained, and deployed independently. In recent years, the microservice architecture has been drawing more and more attention from both industrial and academic communities. Many companies, such as Google, Netflix, Amazon, and IBM have applied microservice architecture in their projects. Researchers have also studied microservices in different directions, such as microservices extraction, fault localization, and code quality analysis. The recent work has presented cross-service code clones are prevalent in microservice projects and have caused considerable co-modifications among different services, which undermines the independence of microservices. But there is no systematic study to reveal the underlying reasons for the emergence of such clones. In this paper, we first build a dataset consisting of 2,722 pairs of cross-service clones from 22 open-source microservice projects. Then we manually inspect the implementations of files and methods involved in cross-service clones to understand why the clones are introduced. In the file-level analysis, we categorize files into three types: DPFile (Data-processing File), DRFile (Data-related File), and DIFile (Data-irrelevant File), and have presented that DRFiles are more likely to encounter cross-service clones. For each type of files, we further classify them into specific cases. Each case describes the characteristics of involved files and why the clones happen. In the method-level analysis, we dig information from the code of involved methods. On this basis, we propose a catalog containing 4 categories with 10 subcategories of method-level implementations that result in cross-service clones. We believe our analyses have provided the fundamental knowledge of cross-service clones, which can help developers better manage and resolve such clones in microservice projects.

Fractional vegetation cover (FVC) is an important indicator reflecting changes in the Earth's ecosystem, as it is essential for simulating growth processes and modeling land surfaces. At present, there have been several FVC products available on the global scale using a variety of satellite data with different retrieval methods. Compared with other FVC products, the Landsat-based FVC is able to describe global vegetation cover at a resolution of 30 m with long time series, which can better represent vegetation cover information with more spatial details. However, the revisit cycle of Landsat satellite is 16 days, resulting in poor performance of Landsat in temporal continuity. In this study, the Landsat-based FVC was enhanced by combining normalized the Sentinel-2 data and filling in some of the missing dates. By applying different temporal reconstruction methods, the temporal continuity of 30 m FVC was significantly improved, and the strengths and weaknesses of each method were also discussed.

Delay-Tolerant Networks (DTNs), a supplementary means of communication network in extreme situations, have aroused wide attention from scholars. However, it is challenging to efficiently utilize DTNs since they have intermittent and high-latency characteristics. In the design of DTNs routing scheme, the selection of relay nodes takes on a great significance in efficient communication. However, existing research has either considered only one of the node features, or simply fused node attributes without fully using their potential correlations. If the above problems are not effectively solved, the propagation of messages between nodes will become blind, and a considerable number of caches will be occupied and wasted by invalid copies. To solve the above challenges, a novel routing, "Traffic Light Routing Based on Node State Awareness (TLRNSA)", is proposed for efficient communication. To be specific, the node's own state, the environmental state, and the historical encounter state are synthesized. The traffic value of the node is obtained based on the adaptive weight adjustment mechanism. The node is divided into three traffic light states, including red, green, and yellow, in accordance with the traffic value. Different routing strategies are developed for the above three states to enhance their performance. The results of the comprehensive experiments suggested that TLRNSA outperforms other state-of-theart algorithms in delivery rate and latency. Compared with the two classic algorithms and the two optimized algorithms, the proposed method increases the delivery rate by 109.1%, 84.12%, 5.09%, and 1.09%, respectively, it reduces the delay by 32.16%, 36.46%, 32.77%, and 6.77%, respectively.

An improved understanding of the factors that influence citizens' continuance use intention will help to promote and improve the practice of open government data. This paper constructs an integrated model that provides insight into factors that influence citizens' continued intention to use open government data. The model contains 296 effective samples from questionnaires, which are then tested by the Structural Equation Model. It is found that perceived usefulness and satisfaction significantly affect the public's continuous adoption of OGD; expectation confirmation significantly affects satisfaction and perceived usefulness, and thus indirectly affects the public's continuous adoption of OGD; perceived ease of use significantly affects the satisfaction, trust in government and trust in the Internet significantly affects the expectation confirmation. But perceived usefulness, trust in government and trust in the Internet had no significant effect on public satisfaction.

At present, the urban functional system (UFS) has been changing with the rapid development of urbanization, which has brought serious challenges for the decision-making of urban planners. It is of great significance to investigate the robustness evaluation of urban functional system. Firstly, the composition map of urban functional area is obtained. Secondly, the center points of each functional area in the system are extracted to represent each functional area and to establish the coupling relationship between different functional areas. Thirdly, the robustness indices for different functional systems are designed. A series of simulation experiments about attack and damage are designed, and the change trend of robustness indices of urban functional system is investigated. Finally, the evaluation indices are established and a variety of simulation experiments are carried out to analyze the change trend of robustness indices. Our experimental results showed that the local attack in batches mode was the most serious mode to destroy the urban functional system. Therefore, more attention should be paid to avoid or alleviate the influence of the local attack in batches.

Event cameras attract researchers' attention due to their low power consumption, high dynamic range, and extremely high temporal resolution. Learning models on event-based object classification have recently achieved massive success by accumulating sparse events into dense frames to apply traditional 2D learning methods. Yet, these approaches necessitate heavy-weight models and are with high computational complexity due to the redundant information introduced by the sparse-to-dense conversion, limiting the potential of event cameras on real-life applications. This study aims to address the core problem of balancing accuracy and model complexity for event-based classification models. To this end, we introduce a novel graph representation for event data to exploit their sparsity better and customize a lightweight voxel graph convolutional neural network (EV-VGCNN) for event-based classification. Specifically, (1) using voxel-wise vertices rather than previous point-wise inputs to explicitly exploit regional 2D semantics of event streams while keeping the sparsity; (2) proposing a multi-scale feature relational layer (MFRL) to extract spatial and motion cues from each vertex discriminatively concerning its distances to neighbors. Comprehensive experiments show that our model can advance state-of-the-art classification accuracy with extremely low model complexity (merely 0.84M parameters).
