集体自恋有多种成因,西方宗主国译者集体自恋情结的典型症状是对殖民地文化的非历史化和本质化翻译模式,主要通过归化翻译来实现。翻译理论界以罗宾逊、韦努蒂和尼南贾娜等为代表,从不同视角对西方翻译研究中的集体自恋情结进行了批判。
