Margaret Walker(1915-1998) is a contemporary black American poet, novelist and literary critic. Her works feature her time with historical significance. Nevertheless, she received fewer literary claims than what she deserved from critics. She is labeled"the most famous person nobody knows". This article gives an overview of overseas scholars' studies on her from the perspectives of writing background, Walker's poetry and her novel Jubilee.
