Participants were recruited from two middle and two high schools in Shanxi Province, China. Cluster sampling was adopted to randomly select two classes from each grade of each school (except for Grades 9 and 12 due to entrance examination preparation). The current study included 795 students (353 boys, 442 girls). The mean age of these students was 14.41 years (SD = 1.70, range = 11–19).
