In 2017, Central China Normal University built 16 smart classrooms, which integrated the new educational and teaching concept of “internet + education,” and created a new classroom teaching environment based on the internet of things, cloud computing, and big data, with the starC software system as the core. In terms of learning space, these smart classrooms support the seamless integration of physical space and virtual space. In terms of the teaching process, they support previewing before class, teaching in class, and evaluating after class. In terms of the teaching content, they support the convenient utilization of resources related to different subjects. In terms of instructional mode, they support the interaction between the relevant subjects of teaching activities and the reorganization of the teaching process. The teaching scene of the smart classroom is shown in Figure4.
