本文通过对古籍资源的特性的分析，结合数字图书馆的结构、功能、特点，构建了一个高效的古籍数字化模型，并深入分析了为有效执行该模型所必需的数字化描述、数字化存储、数字化访问。在此基础上，进一步构架了面向海量信息存储的SAN存储区域网络战略框架。
