新时期以来,当代版画艺术产生了巨大的变化,各种思潮更迭,迅速演进,二十来年的躁动与急迫,现已趋于平静,真正的丰富与多元化体现出了当代版画良好的发展态势.今天,无论是版画语言的重新思考与深层研究,还是传统版画革新的积极推广以及当代艺术为消除盲目性和模仿性的努力,整个版画界都面对自身的生存现实和生存身件,面对东西方传统而选择自己的表达方式,并体现出广泛积极的意义.
