摘要:
Impulsivity is both a core symptom and a key psychological mechanism in Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD), and therefore interventions for impulsivity in IGD have both theoretical and practical value. However, previous related interventions only tended to focus on a single factor of impulsivity and achieved inconsistent results. In this study, based on the theory of two-factor model of impulsivity (reward sensitivity and rash impulsiveness), four groups of IGD subjects were recruited to investigate whether there were different effects of single rash impulsiveness or reward sensitivity intervention versus a combined intervention. By comparing the different factors of impulsivity of the four groups before and after a 15-day intervention, the results showed that: (1) compared with the control group, subjects in the Go/No-go training group only had a significantly lower level of rash impulsiveness, subjects in the Stimulus-Response Compatibility (SRC) training group only had a significantly lower level of reward sensitivity, and subjects in the combined training group had significantly lower levels of both impulsivity; (2) among the three intervention groups, only the subjects in the combined training group had significantly lower IGD scores in the follow-up measure. This study indicated that the behavioral training of Go/No-go and SRC were effective in improving rash impulsiveness and reward sensitivity in IGD, respectively, but the intervention effect of the combined training was better than that of the single training.

摘要:
In today’s era of new public management, respecting the dignity and worth of social workers in organizational management poses a challenge to social work agencies. This research explores whether individual self-actualization can be integrated with organizational development by using a humanistic management approach. Authors sampled 672 supervisors from Chinese social work agencies. A structural equation model was built and tested to examine the relationships between four latent variables: (1) professional competence (PC), (2) organizational citizenship behaviors (OCBs), (3) individual impact, and (4) organizational impact, taking into account the moderating effect of professional associations. The results indicate that individual impact is a mediator between supervisors’ PC/OCBs and organizational impact. Meanwhile, professional associations play a moderating role in the relationship between supervisors’ PC and organizational impact. Findings provide the basis for a humanistic management strategy for social work agencies that focuses on the individual impact of key people to maximize organizational impact. Moreover, professional associations should strengthen the link between individual impact and organizational impact.

摘要:
International Social Work, Volume 67, Issue 1, Page 151-165, January 2024. <br/>Critical consciousness, as a core competence of western social workers and a type of personal resource, has been diminished in China. This study examined whether critical consciousness buffered the effect of role stress on burnout with a nationally representative sample. Results showed that critical consciousness prevented emotional exhaustion and depersonalization in social workers suffering from role stress while it did not enable them to perceive personal accomplishment. The results carry implications for maintaining social workers’ workplace well-being and professional pursuits by incorporating critical consciousness into their professional competence and personal resources.

摘要:
Understanding the mechanism of regional soil chemical property changes is crucial for guiding precise farming and further alleviating poverty in mountainous areas. Our aims were to monitor the temporal and spatial changes in the soil chemical property in subtropical mountainous areas and explore the effect of human activities, soil and topographic factors on the changes. In this study, a total of 332 soil samples were collected from 2017 to 2020 in Baokang County, subtropical mountainous area in central China. We analyzed the soil pH, soil organic matter (OM), soil available phosphorus (AP), soil available potassium (AK), soil total nitrogen (TN) and used Kriging interpolation to draw the map of spatial distribution of soil chemical properties in Baokang County from 2017 to 2020. The geographical detector was used to explore the driving forces of soil chemical property change over the years of research. The results show that: 1) from 2017 to 2020, soil pH, soil OM, and soil AP in Baokang County was increasing from north to south and the value of three chemical properties showed a slight decreasing trend. Soil AK showed an increasing trend, with higher values in Longping and Xiema towns and relatively lower values in Guoduwan, and soil TN was at a high level with large spatial variation. 2) The human activities, soil and topographic factors all affect soil properties in Baokang. In human activities, the cropping system and crop yield were strong explanatory factors for the changes in soil chemical properties, especially for AK and AP. The q values of all the indicators in the soil factor were relatively high, which displays that all indicators we selected affected the changes in soil properties. Soil OM and soil TN were the factors that affected each other with the greatest driving force, as were soil AP and soil AK. The driving force of DEM was greater among the topographic factors (slope, topographic relief and DEM), and its effect on five soil chemical properties showed that AK>AP>OM>TN>pH. 3) The interactions between each two factors showed a two-factor-enhanced relation, indicating that multiple factors form the soil properties of Baokang County. The findings of this study offer some scientific basis and suggestions for local government to control soil quality and economic development.

摘要:
This paper aims to contribute to the effectiveness of pro-poor tourism in rural areas. We use 5770 pro-poor tourism villages in China as the research objects; the spatial distribution characteristics of pro-poor tourism villages in China are analyzed using a combination of disequilibrium index, kernel density analysis, and spatial autocorrelation; their influencing factors are detected using a geographical detector and overlay analysis. The study results show the following: (1) The distribution of pro-poor tourism villages is exceptionally uneven in three zones, eight regions, and inter-provincial levels, forming a high-density cluster belt that includes Hebei, Henan, Anhui, and Hubei, and five high-density cluster cores that include southern Gansu, Sichuan–Gansu–Shaanxi border area; Guizhou, Hunan, and Chongqing border area; southern Sichuan; and southwest Guizhou. (2) Regarding spatial correlations, the pro-poor tourism villages in central and western regions are in hot spots, while those in eastern regions are in cold spots. The hot spots gradually increase, while cold spots gradually decrease, and the clustering trend of the distribution of the pro-poor tourism villages is increasingly apparent. (3) Pro-poor tourism villages are affected by social, economic, industrial, and other human factors as well as natural geographical factors such as terrain, precipitation, river, and climate, among which the industrial factors have a more significant impact. Pro-poor tourism villages are concentrated in humid mountainous areas with an altitude of about 1000 m and an annual precipitation of more than 800 mm, and they are mostly distributed in the subtropical monsoon climate zone closer to the river and more suitable climate. (4) It is suggested that pro-poor tourism villages can be divided into four types: the resource underutilization type, mountain environment restriction type, traffic location non-optimization type, and industrial development lagging type, and the sustainable development strategies of different types of pro-poor tourism villages are proposed.

摘要:
Non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) can be defined as the deliberate destruction of body tissues to generate harm. College students have a higher incidence of NSSI. With the deepening of research on college students' NSSI, the connection between their self-consistency congruence and NSSI has drawn the attention of many scholars. The current study examined the association between self-concordance and NSSI, the mediating function of negative emotions, and the moderating role of gender. We surveyed 1020 college students from three universities in Jiangxi Province using a self-concordant scale, a NSSI questionnaire, and a negative emotion questionnaire. The results showed that self-concordance was negatively correlated with NSSI. There is an obvious negative connection between self-consistency congruence and negative emotions. There was a significant positive correlation between negative emotions and the NSSI scores. Negative emotions could mediate the association between self-consistency congruence and NSSI. Compared to males, females' self-concordant effects on negative emotions are easier to moderate.

摘要:
Journal of Educational Computing Research, Volume 60, Issue 5, Page 1130-1165, September 2022. <br/>In online learning, students’ learning behavior might change as the course progresses. How students adjust learning behaviors aligned with course requirements reflects their self-regulated learning strategies. Analyzing students’ learning patterns can help instructors understand how the course design or activities shape students’ learning behaviors, including their learning beliefs and motivation, and facilitate teaching decision makings accordingly. This study aims to propose a scientific analytic method to understand students’ self-regulated learning (SRL) patterns. The whole process includes the following four steps: (1) encoding behavioral patterns; (2) detecting turning points and chunking behavioral patterns; (3) grouping similar patterns; and (4) interpreting results. A case study with 4604 K-12 students from 476 courses was conducted to validate the proposed method. Five successful patterns, three at-risk patterns, and three average patterns were identified. The case study indicated that successful students showed at least one of the following characteristics: (1) Balanced, (2) Proactive and Balanced, and (3) Balanced with one highly engaged behavior. The at-risk students showed the following characteristics: (1) Oscillatory and (2) Low Engaged. Patterns which led to successful or at-risk conditions are compared and connected with corresponding SRL strategies. Practical and research implications are discussed in the article as well.
