摘要：
China and Maoism were intertwined with the fate of French Hegelianism due to Louis Althusser’s ceaseless effort of bundling them with his anti-Hegelian project. Althusser reinvented Hegelianism as a matrix of One to challenge Western metaphysical tradition, which laid the ground for the continuous involvement between China/Maoism and the core concerns of contemporary French theory, namely differences, anti-determination, anti-reductivism, anti-essentialism, and anti-teleology. Althusser harnessed the complexity of revolutionary China and Maoist difference and unevenness to remake a Marxism of difference and a non-teleological imagination of history; paradoxically, he constrained their momentum at least in the period of For Marx and Reading Capital.
摘要：
Religion and food culture are two closely related topics in the Christian discourse and have been the subject of extensive anthropological research. This paper takes the Boston Chinese Catholics as a case study, and it adopts an ethnographic research methodology to explore the ways in which the sense of belonging develops in the Church community, based on the analysis of food culture in this context. Chinese Catholics in Boston are mainly Fujian and Hong Kong immigrants, and the class, status, and economic differences between these two communities are well apparent. The Boston Chinese Catholic Church divides food into sacred and secular. During religious rituals, all Catholics share the sacred food, the Holy Body and the Holy Blood, which symbolize the unity of the Catholic Church. In everyday life, Fujian Catholic and Hong Kong Catholic community members follow the dietary habits of their community to maintain a division between each community's traditions. Over the years, the Boston Chinese Catholic Church has developed a flexible strategy-externally consistent and internally differentiated-to maintain the unity of the Church while embracing the cultural differences of its members. This flexible strategy has also influenced the way in which the Boston Chinese Catholic Church operates. This study indicates that we need to place more emphasis on the diversity and complexity of the members of the overseas Chinese Catholic Church and the specificities of the Catholic religion's discourse so that we can better understand the overall practices and methods of overseas Chinese Catholicism. This study is a catalyst for the study of overseas Chinese Catholicism, as well as the study of food culture, religion, community, and identity in that context.

摘要：
The goal of this paper is to offer an analysis of urban place names ("urbanonyms") in Macao, China. This city has a centuries-long tradition of multi-cultural and linguistic integration, with Chinese and Portuguese representing the two oldest linguistic and cultural realities. Due to the considerable growth of Macao as a global commercial hub, English has also become an emergent lingua franca in this city's territory and society. However, gazetteers, maps, and other documents reporting Macanese place names include names in Portuguese and Chinese: English names have a restricted use and status. Such a situation naturally leads to questions that pertain to the linguistic properties of these names, and to possible asymmetries in naming practices. The paper thus aims to present a detailed analysis of the Portuguese and Chinese urbanonyms and their linguistic (e.g., grammatical, lexical, and etymological) aspects, and of the emerging English toponyms. The analysis is based on data extraction and triangulation from multiple on-line and off-line gazetteers. Via this analysis, the paper also aims to account for how divergences and convergences reflect Macao's complex toponomastic history and the role of toponomastics in multilingual contexts.

摘要：
Forum Italicum, Volume 57, Issue 3, Page 1019-1040, November 2023. <br/>The goal of this article is to analyse the role of urban place names (‘urbanonyms’) with dialectal origins in the domain of Italian toponomastics. The article offers a gazetteer-based study from which a list of dialectal generic terms is extracted and compiled. From this list, a detailed geographic distributional analysis of these terms is offered, and the dialectal origins of terms are assessed. A questionnaire study is subsequently presented that analyses to what degree Italian speakers may interpret these terms as being dialectal in origin, and to an extent unique to the places they classify. The article concludes by discussing how these findings can inform our understanding of place names, their linguistic properties and their possible dialectal origins.

摘要：
As the classification theory of ancient Chinese instruments, the formation of the Eight sounds concept showed that the production of ancient musical instruments has reached a relatively mature stage. What's more, it has a close relationship with the "inventing wares or utensils by adoring images" theory. "Inventing wares or utensils by adoring Images" as the eight sounds making concept includes at least three levels. The first one is to observe the objective natural images which can be imitated before inventing wares or utensils. After the completion of observations, the natural phenomena can be represented through the instrument itself as a means of communicating with the heavenly person. Vocal imagery is an artistic image that is consistent with musical rhythm for instrumental vocalization.

摘要：
In the first half of the 20th century when Vietnam's literature was undergoing modernization, there was an introduction of a phenomenon of Tu Cham A. The phenomenon brought many social influences and conversely, contributed to the establishment and development of quoc ngu (Vietnam national language) literature. Translations of Tu Cham A (1889-1937) can be seen as literary issues and also as an ethical matter, which put the local translator into ethical backgrounds, ethical conditions, and ethical dilemmas to make their own choices - ethical choices. In light of the theory of Ethical Literary Criticism, this paper aims to provide a new approach to the Tu Cham A study in Vietnam.

摘要：
The famous American dramatist Tony Kushner's Angels in America is an important play of multi-layered themes, with important issues in contemporary American society such as AIDS, homosexuality and politics interweaving each other. Beginning from the perspective of ethical confusion caused by the conflicts between the homosexual character Joseph Pitt's sexual orientation and his traditional religious, family and political ethics, the essay analyzes the process from the three ethical choices he makes to construct his heterosexual ethical identity, to his abandonment of the traditional ethical responsibilities and the construction of homosexual identity when striking by the disappointment to the reality and inner desire, till his total failure at the end of the play because of the absence of the ethical responsibilities. By doing this, the essay demonstrates the ethical confusion and anxieties in ethical identities American homosexuals faced with as well as the choices they made in the 1980s, and explores the ethical teaching the playwright tries to convey through the play.
