In these proceedings, we present the measurements of proton, light nuclei, and strange particle with neutral kaons correlation functions in Au+Au collisions at the BES program and top RHIC energy. The experimental results are compared with model calculations to extract the size of emitting source and the properties of the final-state interactions. The collision energy and centrality dependence of the source size are studied. Further, the implications for the production mechanism of light nuclei are discussed.

The measurement of charmonium states produced in proton-neon (
$$p\text {Ne}$$
) collisions by the LHCb experiment in its fixed-target configuration is presented. The production of
$${{J} \hspace{-1.66656pt}/\hspace{-1.111pt}\psi }$$
and
$$\psi {(2S)}$$
mesons is studied with a beam of 2.5
$$\mathrm{\,Te\hspace{-1.00006pt}V}$$
protons colliding on gaseous neon targets at rest, corresponding to a nucleon-nucleon centre-of-mass energy
$$\sqrt{s_{\scriptscriptstyle \text {NN}}} =68.5\mathrm{\,Ge\hspace{-1.00006pt}V} $$
. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of
$$21.7\pm 1.4 $$
nb
$$^{-1}$$
. The
$${{J} \hspace{-1.66656pt}/\hspace{-1.111pt}\psi }$$
and
$$\psi {(2S)}$$
hadrons are reconstructed in
$$\mu ^+$$
$$\mu ^-$$
final states. The
$${{J} \hspace{-1.66656pt}/\hspace{-1.111pt}\psi }$$
production cross-section per target nucleon in the centre-of-mass rapidity range
$$y^\star \in [-2.29, 0]$$
is found to be
$$506 \pm 8 \pm 46 \text { nb/nucleon}$$
. The ratio of
$${{J} \hspace{-1.66656pt}/\hspace{-1.111pt}\psi }$$
and
$$D^0$$
cross-sections is evaluated to
$$(1.06 \pm 0.02 \pm 0.09)\%$$
. The
$$\psi {(2S)}$$
to
$${{J} \hspace{-1.66656pt}/\hspace{-1.111pt}\psi }$$
relative production rate is found to be
$$(1.67 \pm 0.27\pm 0.10)\%$$
in good agreement with other measurements involving beam and target nuclei of similar sizes.

The branching fraction of the rare decay Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ(1520)μ^{+}μ^{-} is measured for the first time, in the squared dimuon mass intervals q^{2}, excluding the J/ψ and ψ(2S) regions. The data sample analyzed was collected by the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13TeV, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. The result in the highest q^{2} interval, q^{2}>15.0 GeV^{2}/c^{4}, where theoretical predictions have the smallest model dependence, agrees with the predictions.

A Dalitz plot analysis of the
$$ {D}_s^{+} $$
→ π−π+π+ decay is presented. The analysis is based on proton-proton collision data recorded by the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.5 fb−1. The resonant structure of the decay is obtained using a quasi-model-independent partial-wave analysis, in which the π+π− S-wave amplitude is parameterised as a generic complex function determined by a fit to the data. The S-wave component is found to be dominant, followed by the contribution from spin-2 resonances and a small contribution from spin-1 resonances. The latter includes the first observation of the
$$ {D}_s^{+} $$
→ ω(782)π+ channel in the
$$ {D}_s^{+} $$
→ π−π+π+ decay. The resonant structures of the
$$ {D}_s^{+} $$
→ π−π+π+ and D+ → π−π+π+ decays are compared, providing information about the mechanisms for the hadron formation in these decays.

Accurate determination of the thermal rate constants for combustion reactions is a highly challenging task, both experimentally and theoretically. Machine learning has been proven to be a powerful tool to predict reaction rate constants in recent years. In this work, three supervised machine learning algorithms, including XGB, FNN, and XGB-FNN, are used to develop quantitative structure-property relationship models for the estimation of the rate constants of hydrogen abstraction reactions from alkanes by the free radicals CH(3), H, and O. The molecular similarity based on Morgan molecular fingerprints combined with the topological indices are proposed to represent chemical reactions in the machine learning models. Using the newly constructed descriptors, the hybrid XGB-FNN algorithm yields average deviations of 65.4%, 12.1%, and 64.5% on the prediction sets of alkanes + CH(3), H, and O, respectively, whose performance is comparable and even superior to the corresponding one using the activation energy as a descriptor. The use of activation energy as a descriptor has previously been shown to significantly improve prediction accuracy ( Fuel 2022, 322, 124150) but typically requires cumbersome ab initio calculations. In addition, the XGB-FNN models could reasonably predict reaction rate constants of hydrogen abstractions from different sites of alkanes and their isomers, indicating a good generalization ability. It is expected that the reaction descriptors proposed in this work can be applied to build machine learning models for other reactions.

PSR J2150+3427 is a 0.654 s pulsar discovered by the Commensal Radio Astronomy FAST Survey. From the follow-up observations, we find that the pulsar is in a highly eccentric orbit (e = 0.601) with an orbital period of 10.592 days and a projected semimajor axis of 25.488 lt-s. Using 2.7 yr of timing data, we also measured the rate of periastron advance omega(center dot) = 0.0115(4) deg yr(-1). An estimate for the total mass of the system using the omega(center dot) gives M-tot = 2.59(13)M-circle dot, which is consistent with most of the known double neutron star (DNS) systems and one neutron star (NS)-white dwarf (WD) system named B2303+46. Combining omega(center dot) with the mass function of the system gives the masses of M-p < 1.67 and M-c > 0.98 M-circle dot for the pulsar and the companion star, respectively. This constraint, along with the spin period and orbital parameters, suggests that it is possibly a DNS system, and we cannot entirely rule out the possibility of an NS-WD system. Future timing observations will vastly improve the uncertainty in omega(center dot), and are likely to allow the detection of additional relativistic effects, which can be used to modify the values of M-p and M-c. With a spin-down luminosity of omega(center dot) = 5.07(6) x 10(29) erg s(-1), PSR J2150+3427 is a very low-luminosity pulsar, with only the binary pulsar J2208+4610 having a smaller omega(center dot).

The first observation of the Lambda(0)(b) -> D-s(-) p decay is presented using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of root s = 13TeV, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 6 fb(-1). Using the Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda(+pi-)(c) decay as the normalisation mode, the branching fraction of the Lambda(0)(b) -> D-s(-) p decay is measured to be B (Lambda(0)(b) -> D-s(-) p) = (12.6 +/- 0.5 +/- 0.3 +/- 1.2) x 10(-6), where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third due to uncertainties in the branching fractions of the Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda(+pi-)(c), D-s(-) -> K-K+pi(-) and Lambda(+)(c) -> pK(-)pi(+) decays.

Currently, most fatigue driving detection methods rely on complex neural networks whose feasibility in hardware implementation needs to be further improved. This paper proposes an embedded device-oriented fatigue driving detection method based on a lightweight YOLOv5s. Firstly, a YOLOv5s face detection network with a parametric-free attention mechanism is designed to enhance the focus on face regions during face detection. Then, a practical facial landmark detector model is improved by integrating multi-scale feature fusion with Ghost module, which can adapt to the variations brought by different scale targets. Next, a fatigue determination approach is investigated by using multiple features of the face. Finally, experiments of the proposed detection model with the public YawDD dataset are implemented on the PC platform and the embedded device, respectively. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves a detection accuracy of 95.3% and a processing speed of 22FPS on the PC platform. Meanwhile, the hardware test on an Orange Pi5 embedded device achieves a detection accuracy of 93.3% and a processing speed of 12FPS, which has good prospects for applications.

In this paper, we study steady-state quantum entanglement and steering in an open Dicke model where cavity dissipation and individual atomic decoherence are taken into account. Specifically, we consider that each atom is coupled to independent dephasing and squeezed environments, which makes the widely-adopted Holstein-Primakoff approximation invalid. By discovering the features of quantum phase transition in the presence of the decohering environments, we mainly find that (i) in both normal and superradiant phases, the cavity dissipation and individual atomic decoherence can improve the entanglement and steering between the cavity field and atomic ensemble; (ii) the individual atomic spontaneous emission leads to the appearance of the steering between the cavity field and atomic ensemble but the steering in two directions cannot be simultaneously generated; (iii) the maximal achievable steering in normal phase is stronger than that in superradiant phase; (iv) the entanglement and steering between the cavity output field and the atomic ensemble are much stronger than that with the intracavity, and the steerings in two directions can be achieved even with the same parameters. Our findings reveal unique features of quantum correlations in the open Dicke model in the presence of individual atomic decoherence processes.

The ratios of branching fractions R(D^{*})≡B(B[over ¯]→D^{*}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(B[over ¯]→D^{*}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ}) and R(D^{0})≡B(B^{-}→D^{0}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(B^{-}→D^{0}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ}) are measured, assuming isospin symmetry, using a sample of proton-proton collision data corresponding to 3.0 fb^{-1} of integrated luminosity recorded by the LHCb experiment during 2011 and 2012. The tau lepton is identified in the decay mode τ^{-}→μ^{-}ν_{τ}ν[over ¯]_{μ}. The measured values are R(D^{*})=0.281±0.018±0.024 and R(D^{0})=0.441±0.060±0.066, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The correlation between these measurements is ρ=-0.43. The results are consistent with the current average of these quantities and are at a combined 1.9 standard deviations from the predictions based on lepton flavor universality in the standard model.

In this paper we propose a scheme for achieving simultaneous nonreciprocal photon blockade for two coupled spinning resonators, one of which contains an optical parametric amplifier (OPA). Rotating two resonators gives rise to opposite Sagnac-Fizeau shifts for input from different ends. Depending on the opposite shifts, quantum destructive interference emerges and disappears in two-photon excitation. The emergence of destructive interference results in photon blockade in two resonators simultaneously for one end input, while the lack of complete destructive interference makes the blockade disappear for the other end input. The simultaneous nonreciprocal blockade is tunable by controlling the amplitude of the probe field and the driving field applied on the OPA. Our work paves the way to develop simultaneous nonreciprocal single-photon devices in multiple modes, which have potential applications in multichannel topological and chiral quantum technologies.

Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) is a widely used conductive polymer in organic light-emitting devices. However, its strong acidity and fluorescence quenching effect seriously affect the overall device performance. We report a cost-effective method to address the above concerns by diluting PEDOT:PSS with deionized water, which effectively reduced the film thickness and the acidity. Therefore, the fluorescence quenching occurring at the interface was alleviated. Using the modified PEDOT:PSS as the hole injection layer, the external quantum efficiency of the device could be effectively improved by a factor of 81%, reaching a considerably higher value of 23.5%, compared with the device consisting of the original PEDOT:PSS solution used as received. A cost-effective method to address the issues of strong acidity and exciton quenching of PEDOT:PSS was developed by diluting it with deionized water. The solution-processed organic LEDs achieved almost doubled efficiencies with the modified PEDOT:PSS.

Copper metal is a promising anode in aqueous batteries due to its low price, noble reaction potential (0.34 V), high theoretical specific capacity, abundance and chemical stability. However, only a few copper ion storage materials have been reported. Herein, layered vanadium pentoxide is chosen to store copper ions for the first time. Ex situ XRD reveals a unique two phase transition process during cycling. The V2O5 electrode shows stable copper ion storage performance. It delivers 91.9 mAh g(-1) for the first cycle with a cycle life of as high as 4000 cycles at 1.0 A g(-1). This work provides an intriguing copper ion storage material and expands the available options of electrode materials for copper ion storage.

Extremely large angular orbital momentum can be produced in non-central heavy-ion collisions, leading to a strong transverse polarization of partons that scatter through the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) due to spin-orbital coupling. We develop a perturbative approach to describe the formation and spacetime evolution of quark polarization inside the QGP. Polarization from both the initial hard scatterings and interactions with the QGP have been consistently described using the quark-potential scattering approach, which has been coupled to realistic initial condition calculation and the subsequent
$$(3+1)$$
-dimensional viscous hydrodynamic simulation of the QGP for the first time. Within this improved approach, we have found that different spacetime-rapidity-dependent initial energy density distributions generate different time evolution profiles of the longitudinal flow velocity gradient of the QGP, which further lead to an approximately 15% difference in the final polarization of quarks collected on the hadronization hypersurface of the QGP. Therefore, in addition to the collective flow coefficients, the hyperon polarization may serve as a novel tool to help constrain the initial condition of the hot nuclear matter created in high-energy nuclear collisions.
