This erratum corrects measurements of the prompt and secondary (from-b) psi (2S) production cross-sections in the forward region in pp collisions at root s = 7TeV. The original measurements were performed using data collected with the LHCb detector in 2010 and were published in the original article. Corrected results for prompt psi(2S) and psi(2S)from-b in the kinematic range pT(psi(2S)) < 16GeV/c and 2.0 < y(psi(2S)) < 4.5 are where the last uncertainty on the prompt cross-section is due to the unknown psi(2S) polarization. With the corrected psi (2S)-from-b cross-section the inclusive branching fraction is updated by B(b ->psi(2S) X) = (3.08 +/- 0.07(stat) +/- 0.36(syst) +/- 0.27(B)) x 10(-3).

The first observation of the decay B-0 -> D-0(D) over bar K-0(+)pi(-) is reported using proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.7 fb(-1) collected by the LHCb experiment in 2011, 2012 and 2016. The measurement is performed in the full kinematically allowed range of the decay outside of the D*(-) region. The ratio of the branching fraction relative to that of the control channel B-0 -> D-0<(DK+)-K-0 pi(-)+ is measured to be R = (14.2 +/- 1.1 +/- 1.0)%, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The absolute branching fraction of B-0 -> D-0(D) over bar K-0(+)pi(- )decays is thus determined to be B(B-0 -> D-0(D) over bar K-0(+)pi(-)) = (3.50 +/- 0.27 +/- 0.26 +/- 0.30) x 10(-4), where the third uncertainty is due to the branching fraction of the control channel. This decay mode is expected to provide insights to spectroscopy and the charm-loop contributions in rare semileptonic decays.

The Lambda K-+(c)- mass spectrum is studied with a data sample of pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.6 fb(-1) collected by the LHCb experiment. Three Xi(0)(c) states are observed with a large significance and their masses and natural widths are measured to be m[Xi(c)(2923)(0)] = 2923.04 +/- 0.25 +/- 0.20 +/- 0.14 MeV, Gamma[Xi(c)(2923)(0)] = 7.1 +/- 0.8 +/- 1.8 MeV, m[Xi(c)(2939)(0)] = 2938.55 +/- 0.21 +/- 0.17 +/- 0.14 MeV, Gamma[Xi(c)(2939)(0)] = 10.2 +/- 0.8 +/- 1.1 MeV, m[Xi(c)(2965)(0)] = 2964.88 +/- 0.26 +/- 0.14 +/- 0.14 MeV, Gamma[Xi(c)(2965)(0)] = 14.1 +/- 0.9 +/- 1.3 MeV, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and due to the limited knowledge of the Lambda(+)(c) mass. The Xi(c)(2923)(0) and Xi(c)(2939)(0) baryons are new states. The Xi(c)(2965)(0) state is in the vicinity of the known Xi(c)(2970)(0) baryon; however, their masses and natural widths differ significantly.

A measurement of four branching-fraction ratios for three-body decays of B mesons involving two open-charm hadrons in the final state is presented. Run 1 and Run 2 pp collision data are used, recorded by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies 7, 8, and 13 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1). The results of an amplitude analysis of the charmless three-body decay B+ -> pi(+)pi(+)pi(-) , in which CP-violation effects are taken into account, are reported. The analysis is based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1) of pp collisions recorded with the LHCb detector. The most challenging aspect of the analysis is the description of the behavior of the pi(+)pi(-) S-wave contribution, which is achieved by using three complementary approaches based on the isobar model, the K-matrix formalism, and a quasi-model-independent procedure. Additional resonant contributions for all three methods are described using a common isobar model, and include the rho(770)(0), omega(782)(0) and rho(1450)(0) resonances in the pi(+)pi(-) P-wave, the f(2) (1270) resonance in the pi(+)pi D- -wave, and the rho(3) (1690)(0) resonance in the pi(+)pi(-) F-wave. Significant CP-violation effects are observed in both S- and D-waves, as well as in the interference between the S- and P-waves. The results from all three approaches agree and provide new insight into the dynamics and the origin of CP-violation effects in B+ -> pi(+)pi(+)pi(-) decays.

The shape of the B-s(0) -> D-s*mu(+)nu(mu) differential decay rate is obtained as a function of the hadron recoil parameter using proton-proton collision data at a centreof-mass energy of 13TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.7 fb(-1) collected by the LHCb detector. The B-s(0) -> D-s*(-)mu(+)nu(mu) decay is reconstructed through the decays D-s*(-) up arrow D-s(-) gamma and D-s(-) -> K-K+pi(-). The differential decay rate is fitted with the CapriniLellouch-Neubert (CLN) and Boyd-Grinstein-Lebed (BGL) parametrisations of the form factors, and the relevant quantities for both are extracted.

Searches are performed for both promptlike and long-lived dark photons, A ', produced in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. These searches look for A '->mu(+)mu(-) decays using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.5 fb(-1) collected with the LHCb detector. Neither search finds evidence for a signal, and 90% confidence-level exclusion limits are placed on the gamma-A ' kinetic mixing strength. The promptlike A ' search explores the mass region from near the dimuon threshold up to 70 GeV and places the most stringent constraints to date on dark photons with 214 < m(A ') less than or similar to 740 MeV and 10.6 < m(A ') less than or similar to 30 GeV. The search for long-lived A '->mu(+)mu(-) decays places world-leading constraints on low-mass dark photons with lifetimes O(1)ps.

摘要:
A new baryon state is observed in the
$$ {\Lambda}_{\mathrm{b}}^0{\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-} $$
mass spectrum with high significance using a data sample of pp collisions, collected with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies
$$ \sqrt{s} $$
= 7, 8 and 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb−1. The mass and natural width of the new state are measured to be
$$ {\displaystyle \begin{array}{l}m=6072.3\pm 2.9\pm 0.6\pm 0.2\ \mathrm{MeV},\\ {}\Gamma =72\pm 11\pm 2\ \mathrm{MeV},\end{array}} $$
where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The third uncertainty for the mass is due to imprecise knowledge of the
$$ {\Lambda}_{\mathrm{b}}^0 $$
baryon mass. The new state is consistent with the first radial excitation of the
$$ {\Lambda}_{\mathrm{b}}^0 $$
baryon, the Λb(2S)0 resonance. Updated measurements of the masses and the upper limits on the natural widths of the previously observed Λb(5912)0 and Λb(5920)0 states are also reported.

The element vertical bar V-cb vertical bar of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix is measured using semileptonic B-s(0) decays produced in proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1). Rates of B-s0 -> D-s(-) mu(+)nu(mu) and B-s0 -> D-s*(-) mu(+)nu(mu) decays are analyzed using hadronic form-factor parametrizations derived either by Caprini, Lellouch and Neubert (CLN) or by Boyd, Grinstein and Lebed (BGL). The measured values of vertical bar V-cb vertical bar are (41.4 +/- 0.6 +/- 0.9 +/- 1.2) x 10(-3) and (42.3 +/- 0.8 +/- 0.9 +/- 1.2) x 10(-3) in the CLN and BGL parametrization, respectively. The first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic, and the third is due to the external inputs used in the measurement. These results are in agreement with those obtained from decays of B+ and B-0 mesons. They are the first determinations of vertical bar V-cb vertical bar at a hadron-collider experiment and the first using B-s(0) meson decays.

Searches are performed for a low-mass dimuon resonance, X, produced in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.1 fb(-1) and collected with the LHCb detector. The X bosons can either decay promptly or displaced from the proton-proton collision, where in both cases the requirements placed on the event and the assumptions made about the production mechanisms are kept as minimal as possible. The searches for promptly decaying X bosons explore the mass range from near the dimuon threshold up to 60 GeV, with nonnegligible X widths considered above 20 GeV. The searches for displaced X -> mu (+)mu (-) decays consider masses up to 3 GeV. None of the searches finds evidence for a signal and 90% confidence-level exclusion limits are placed on the X -> mu (+)mu (-) cross sections, each with minimal model dependence. In addition, these results are used to place world-leading constraints on GeV-scale bosons in the two-Higgs-doublet and hidden-valley scenarios.

A measurement of the branching fraction of the decay B-s(0) -> (KSKS0)-K-0 is performed using proton- proton - collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5 fb(-1) collected by the LHCb experiment between 2011 and 2016. The branching fraction is determined to be B(B-s(0) -> (KSKS0)-K-0) = [8.3 +/- 1.6(stat) +/- 0.9(syst) +/- 0.8(norm) +/- 0.3(f(s)/f(d))] x 10(-6), where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third and fourth are due to uncertainties on the branching fraction of the normalization mode B-0 -> phi K(S)(0 )and the ratio of hadronization fractions f(s)/f(d). This is the most precise measurement of this branching fraction to date. Furthermore, a measurement of the branching fraction of the decay B-s(0) -> (KSKS0)-K-0 is performed relative to that of the B-s(0) -> (KSKS0)-K-0 channel, and is found to be B(B-s(0) -> (KSKS0)-K-0)/B(B-s(0) -> (KSKS0)-K-0) = [7.5 +/- 3.1(stat) 0.5(syst) +/- 0.3(f(s)/f(d))1 x 10(-2).

Using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.0 $$\, \text {fb} ^{-1}$$, collected by the LHCb experiment, the production of the $${\eta _{c}} (1S)$$ state in proton–proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of $$\sqrt{s} =13$$ $$\, \text {TeV}$$ is studied in the rapidity range $$2.0< y < 4.5$$ and in the transverse momentum range $$6.5< p_{\mathrm {T}} < 14.0 \, \text {GeV} $$. The cross-section for prompt production of $${\eta _{c}} (1S)$$ mesons relative to that of the $${J /\psi }$$ meson is measured using the $$p $$ $$\overline{{p}}$$ decay mode and is found to be $${\sigma _{{\eta _{c}} (1S)}/\sigma _{{{J /\psi }}} = 1.69 \pm 0.15 \pm 0.10 \pm 0.18}$$. The quoted uncertainties are, in order, statistical, systematic and due to uncertainties on the branching fractions of the $${{J /\psi }} \!\rightarrow {p} {\overline{{p}}} $$ and $${\eta _{c}} \!\rightarrow {p} {\overline{{p}}} $$ decays. The prompt $${\eta _{c}} (1S)$$ production cross-section is determined to be $${\sigma _{{\eta _{c}} (1S)} = 1.26 \pm 0.11\pm 0.08\pm 0.14 \,\upmu \text {b}}$$, where the last uncertainty includes that on the $${J /\psi }$$ meson cross-section. The ratio of the branching fractions of $$b $$-hadron decays to the $${\eta _{c}} (1S)$$ and $${J /\psi }$$ states is measured to be $${{\mathcal {B}} _{{b} \!\rightarrow {\eta _{c}} X}/{\mathcal {B}} _{{b} \!\rightarrow {{J /\psi }} X} = 0.48 \pm 0.03 \pm 0.03 \pm 0.05}$$, where the last uncertainty is due to those on the branching fractions of the $${{J /\psi }} \!\rightarrow {p} {\overline{{p}}} $$ and $${\eta _{c}} \!\rightarrow {p} {\overline{{p}}} $$ decays. The difference between the $${J /\psi }$$ and $${\eta _{c}} (1S)$$ masses is also determined to be $$113.0 \pm 0.7 \pm 0.1 \, \text {MeV} $$, which is the most precise single measurement of this quantity to date.

Results are reported from an amplitude analysis of the B+ -> D+D-K+ decay. The analysis is carried out using LHCb proton-proton collision data taken at root s = 7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1). In order to obtain a good description of the data, it is found to be necessary to include new spin-0 and spin-1 resonances in the D-K+ channel with masses around 2.9 GeV/c(2), and a new spin-0 charmonium resonance in proximity to the spin-2 chi(c2)(3930) state.

The decay Lambda(0)(b) -> eta(c) (1S)pK(- )is observed for the first time using a data sample of proton-proton collisions, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.5 fb I, collected with the LHCb experiment at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The branching fraction of the decay is measured, using the Lambda(0)(b) -> J/psi pK(-) decay as a normalization mode, to be B(Lambda(0)(b) -> eta(c) (1S)pK(-)) = (1.06 +/- 0.16 +/- 0.06(-019)(+0.22)) x 10(-4), where the quoted uncertainties are statistical, systematic and due to external inputs, respectively. A study of the eta(c)(1S)p mass spectrum is performed to search for the P-c(4312)(+) pentaquark state. No evidence is B(Lambda(0)(b) -> P-c(4312)K-+(-))xB(P-c(4312)(+)-> eta(c)(1S)p)/B(Lambda(0)(b) -> eta(c) (1S)pK(-)) < 0.24( ) observed and an upper limit of < 0.24 is obtained at the 95% confidence level.
