Social media data are used to enhance crisis management, as people widely adopt social media to share and acquire information to cope with uncertainties in crises. Identification and extraction of informative communications out of large volumes of data is critical for accurate situational awareness and timely response. Existing studies use conditions of geolocations, keywords, and topics separately or jointly to retrieve data that can be crisis related, but are not enough to filter subsets of data for different crisis management tasks. We propose that the crisis communication purposes of users can be detected to enhance data selection and prioritization for different crisis management tasks. A classification framework was built to identify three facets of a message: content type, audience type, and information source. The definitions of these categories are not dependent on a specific type of crises. So the classification framework can be potentially applied to different crisis scenarios. Machine learning models were created for the automatic classification of messages. Results showed the CNN-based model achieved the best accuracy (88.5%) for the classification of content type. The proposed Naive Bayes and logistic repression with predetermined features can best differentiate audience types and information source with an accuracy of 72.7% and 72.2%, respectively.

Knowledge tracing predicts students' future performance based on their past performance. Most of the existing models take skills as input, which neglects question information and further limits the model performance. Inspired by item-item collaborative filtering in recommender systems, we propose a question-question Collaborative embedding method for Knowledge Tracing (CoKT) to introduce question information. To be specific, we incorporate student-question interactions and question-skill relations to capture question similarity. Based on the similarity, we further learn question embeddings, which are then integrated into a neural network to make predictions. Experiments demonstrate that CoKT significantly outperforms baselines on three benchmark datasets. Moreover, visualization illustrates that CoKT can learn interpretable question embeddings and achieve more obvious improvement on AUC when the interaction data is more sparse.

In this paper, we propose a new model that combines reinforcement learning and adversarial training to exploit the data generated by distant supervision for named entity recognition. Our model can not only reduce the influence of noise in generated data, but also find more informative instances for training. In the pre-training stage of the model, in order to make full use of the data generated by distant supervision, we use reinforcement learning to select reliable instances to pre-train a classifier. In the training stage of the model, we introduce the adversarial training mechanism, which can not only find more reliable instances to enhance the ability of the classifier, but also use noise data to improve the ability of the model to resist noise. To evaluate the performance of the model, we conduct experiments on two public datasets, Species800 dataset in biology and EC dataset in e-commerce domain. The experimental results show that in Species800 dataset, the F1 score of our model is 1.68% higher than that of baseline, and in EC dataset, the F1 score of our model is 6.32% higher than that of baseline. Compared to the state of art models, our model can achieve comparable performance just using word2vec embedding.

摘要:
ICT (information and communications technology) evaluation in education is a key step in measuring the development level of education informatization. At present, the statistical data of evaluation process mainly be transmitted in the form of static chart files. How to grasp the overall evaluation status of each evaluation area in real time and understand the latest progress and bottlenecks of evaluation work is an urgent problem. This work-in-progress paper proposes a real-time monitoring system for ICT evaluation process in education based on CesiumJS 3D visualization, which can provide multi-modal 3D visualization for dynamic evaluation process data and further support knowledge mining.

Higher-order cumulants of the net-baryon multiplicity distributions are predicted to be sensitive to the properties of the nuclear matter created in high-energy nuclear collisions. In this talk, we present the collision centrality and acceptance (rapidity and transverse momentum) dependence of the ratio of the 6th- to the 2nd-order cumulant ratio (C-6/C-2) of netproton in Au+Au collisions at root sNN = 54.4 and 200 GeV measured by the STAR detector at RHIC. The new results are compared to hadron transport model and lattice QCD calculations.

摘要:
Experimental searches for Chiral Magnetic Effect (CME) in heavy-ion collisions have been going on for a decade, and so far there is no conclusive evidence for its existence. Recently, the Signed Balance Function (SBF), based on the idea of examining the momentum ordering of charged pairs along the inand out-of-plane directions, has been proposed as a probe of CME. In this approach, a pair of observables is invoked: one is r(rest), the out-of-plane to in-plane ratio of Delta B measured in pair's rest frame, where Delta B is the difference between signed balance functions; The other is a double ratio, R-B = r(rest)/r(lab), where r(lab) is a measurement similar to r(rest) but measured in the laboratory frame. These two observables give opposite responses to the CME-driven charge separation compared to the background correlations arising from resonance flow and global spin alignment. Both r(rest) and R-B being larger than unity can be regarded as a case in favor of the existence of CME. It is found experimentally that r(rest), r(lab) and R-B are larger than unity in Au+Au collisions at 200 GeV, and larger than realistic model calculations with no CME implemented. These findings are difficult to be explained by a background-only scenario.

摘要:
Using the CUJET3=DGLV+VISHNU jet-medium interaction framework, we show that dijet azimuthal acoplanarity in high energy A + A collisions is sensitive to possible non-perturbative enhancement of the jet transport coefficient, (q) over cap (T, E), in the QCD crossover temperature T similar to 150 - 300 MeV range. With jet-medium couplings constrained by global RHIC& LHC chi(2) fits to nuclear modification data on R-AA(p(T) > 20) GeV, we compare predictions of the medium induced dijet transverse momentum squared, Q(s)(2) similar to ((q) over capL) similar to Delta phi E-2(2), in two models of the temperature, T, and jet energy E dependence of the jet medium transport coefficient, (q) over cap (T, E). In one model, wQGP, the chromo degrees of freedom (dof) are approximated by a perturbative dielectric gas of quark and gluons dof. In the second model, sQGMP, we consider a nonperturbative partially confined semi-Quark-Gluon-Monopole-Plasma with emergent color magnetic dof constrained by lattice QCD data. Unlike the slow variation of the scaled jet transport coefficient, (q) over cap (wQGP)/T-3, the sQGMP model (q) over cap (sQGMP)/T-3 features a sharp maximum in the QCD confinement crossover T range. We show that the dijet path averaged medium induced azimuthal acoplanarity, Delta phi(2), in sQGMP is robustly similar to 2 times larger than in perturbative wQGP. even though the radiative energy loss in both models is very similar as needed to fit the same R-AA data. Future A+A dijet acoplanarity measurements constrained together with single jet R-AA and v(n) measurements therefore appears to be a promising strategy to search for possible signatures of critical opalescence like phenomena in the QCD confinement temperature range.

摘要:
We calculated the azimuthal angle dependence of the local spin polarization of hyperons in 200 GeV Au+Au and 2.76 TeV Pb+Pb collisions in the framework of the (3+1)D viscous hydrodynamic model CLVisc with AMPT initial conditions encoding initial orbital angular momenta. We find that the azimuthal angle dependence of the hyperon polarization strongly depends on the choice of the spin chemical potential Omega(mu nu). With Omega(mu nu) chosen to be proportional to the temperature vorticity, our simulation shows coincidental results with the recent measurements at RHIC.

Anisotropic flow fluctuations can be used to constrain the initial conditions and probe the properties and evolution of the system created in heavy-ion collisions. In this proceeding, the P-T-differential flow coefficient v(n) with 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-particle cumulants for charged hadrons are investigated, which allows to study the higher order moments, including skewness and kurtosis, of v(2) probability density function (p.d.f.). In addition, the v2 fluctuations of pi(+/-), K-+/-, p + (p) over bar, phi, K-s(0), A + (A) over bar and Xi(-) + Xi(=) are also measured at mid rapidity in Pb-Pb collisions at root S-NN = 5.02 TeV using multi-particle cumulants. The implications of the results for understanding the properties of the medium are discussed.

This study used factor analysis to investigate relationships between educator to student interactions, the relationship between students, skills to critical thinking, and motivation. Factor analysis showed that there are three factors; passion, assistance, and guidance. Meanwhile, the adequacy is 0.945 surpassing the recommended value of 0.50 using Kaiser Meyer Olkin. The statistical significance of Bartlett's Test of Sphericity test indicated that 0.00 and chi 2 = 3552.973. Adequacy measurement of Anti-Image Correlation Matrix ranges from 0.49 to 0.69. It is significantly important that educators guide the students in becoming more creative and innovative by using and applying DTMP during the learning process.

Heavy quarks are unique probes to investigate the properties of the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) formed in ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions. The ALICE Collaboration measured the D-meson elliptic flow, v(2), in Pb-Pb collisions at root s(NN) = 5.02 TeV to study the participation of the low and intermediate transverse momentum (p(T)) charm quarks in the collective expansion of the system. The charm-quark dynamic in the QGP is further investigated through the Event Shape Engineering (ESE) technique. Furthermore, the effect of unprecedented strong magnetic field produced in heavy-ion collisions is studied by measuring the charged-dependent directed flow (v(1)) of D-0 mesons for the first time at the LHC. Recent results of azimuthal anisotropy of open heavy-flavour decay electrons and muons in p-Pb collisions at root s(NN) = 5.02 TeV and root s(NN) = 8.16 TeV, respectively, are also shown.
