Peroxynitrite (ONOO − ) is one of the most important reactive oxygen species (ROS) in living systems and its subcellular detection is very important. In this research, a lysosome-targetable fluorescent probe for detection of exogenous and endogenous peroxynitrite in living systems was developed.
