The ZnII ion in the title compound, [Zn2(HPO4)2(C6H6N4)], exhibits a tetra-hedral geometry. It is coordinated by three O atoms from three hydrogenphosphate ions of three different structure units and one N atom of a centrosymmetric bridging 2,2′-biimidazole mol-ecule.
