发展学生的生物学核心素养,是中学生物学课程的核心任务。生物学观念是对生物学和生命的整体理解,是生物学核心素养的基础和支柱。基于对生物学概念体系和生命科学哲学的分析,确定生物学观念包括生物学本质观和生命观念。其中,生物学本质观指向对生物学的理解;生命观念指向对生命的理解,主要包括生命的物质观、能量观、信息观、进化观、生态观和系统观。
