Bis-propargylcalix[4]arene-stabilized silver nanoparticles (BPCA–Ag NPs), as a chemosensor for detecting an isocarbophos (ICP) pesticide in an aqueous medium, are reported in this work. The nanoparticles were characterized by UV–visible spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, zeta potential and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy techniques. It was observed that the BPCA–Ag NPs had a high selectivity for isocarbophos with a detection limit of 1.0 × 10–6M. According to the result of this research, the BPCA–Ag NPs were found to...
