A new technique for purifying carbon nanotubes utilizing anodic oxidation in a SPE cell was developed. On the basis of TEM observations, TG-DTA graphs and Raman analysis, it was found that most of the carbonaceous impurities were removed from the roots without significant damage to the bundles.
