Xie Shaoying:The Forgotten Musician Studied in America

有关近代中国的音乐留学生，学界一般都多将视野集中在20世纪初年负笈日本的沈心工、王鸿年、曹汝锦、曾志忞、萧友梅等人，而对较早赴美国学习音乐的留学生却很少提及。文章以1900年至1910年间两度赴美国专攻音乐的福州女留学生谢绍英为例，考察清末国人在美国学习西洋音乐的经历及其学成归国后的音乐教育活动和中美音乐交流的情况。
