Rapidity, azimuthal and multiplicity dependence of inclusive mean transverse momentum and transverse momentum correlation is studied in π+p and K+p collisions at 250 GeV/c. It is found for the first time that rapidity dependence of two‐particle transverse momentum correlations is different from those of inclusive mean transverse momentum but both have similar multiplicity dependence.
