论文从新加坡人口发展状况,中国大陆新移民社团的基本情况。新移民社团的背景、特征及问题等方面,考察了新移民社团的发展、存在的问题以及二十年来新加坡中国大陆新移民的适应与融入状况。论文认为,随着新加坡人口老龄化进程及中国大陆新移民数量的增加,各种新移民社团也建立起来。其中既有大型综合性社团如华源会、天府会,也有新近成立的实体或虚拟地缘性同乡会。此外还有华新会及中国高校校友会等学缘性社团。这些团体为帮助新移民融入、构建中新经济文化交流平台做出了贡献,发挥了本地华人老社团所不能承担的社会功能,但由于过于快速的发展及非制度化运作等特征,其未来的发展也会产生一定问...
