A method for the determination of inorganic phosphorus in phytic acid by polarography was developed. The mechanism of Mo/Sb/P polarographic behaviour has been studied. It is one of the most sensitive analytical methods of phosphorus at present. The limit of detection is 8x10-9g/ml.
