Monodispersed ZnO nanorods were prepared using ZnCl2 as raw material and PVP as surfactant by in-situ reaction. The ZnO nanorods were characterized by means of transmission electron microscopy(TEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and ultraviolet and visible light spectrophotormeter.
