形象思维问题是马克思主义文艺理论中的重要论题。新时期中国文艺学界围绕形象思维存在与否及是否具有普遍性、形象思维的工具、形象思维的基础、形象思维与马克思主义认识论的关系、形象思维与逻辑思维的关系等问题进行了广泛而深入的论争与探索,并形成了三种具有鲜明时代特点与中国特色的理论建构:朱光潜的以“实践活动”为理论核心的形象思维本质论、王元化的以“知性分析”为理论核心的形象思维活动规律论以及李泽厚的以“情感积淀”为理论核心的形象思维活动机制论。这些理论建构对当时流行的庸俗社会学和机械反映论进行了理论反拨,也进一步深化了中国马克思主义文艺理论与批评对形象思维问...
