优秀旅游城市的创建为城市旅游的发展注入了生机与活力。进行优秀旅游城市空间演化研究,有助于认识与把握区域优秀旅游城市空间演化规律,促进区域旅游发展。选取2000年、2005年和2010年为时间研究截面,采用标准差与离差系数、旅游经济联系和Zipf维数,分别从空间经济差异、空间相互作用和空间等级结构三个方面分析湖北省优秀旅游城市的空间演化。研究结果表明：（1）湖北省优秀旅游城市旅游经济绝对差异和相对差异呈不断扩大的趋势,优秀旅游城市空间发展不均衡性增强;（2）湖北省优秀旅游城市旅游经济联系总量在空间上呈现出以武汉市为中心向周边逐渐衰减的规律,武汉市在湖北省优秀旅游城市旅游经...
