如何提升思想政治教育实践的有效性和实效性历来被高度重视，但是，人们往往忽略思想政治教育实践的讨论，实际上只是“偏安”于认识论，思政治教育实践概念的建构主义维度被遮蔽了。因此，重新理解思想政治教育实践概念，需要对圈禁于认识论的思想政治教育实践概念加以去蔽，阐明这一实践本质上是实践理性的建构活动，从而明确思想政治教育实践理性在其活动中坚持的三个原则：两个目的原则，即思想解放原则和正义原则；一个规范原则，即政治文明原则。
