The intelligent molecular design of organic semiconductors allows for the introduction of specific moieties with recognition functions, while the recognition reactions are largely overlooked for constructing an advanced photoelectrochemical sensor. For the first time, a photoelectrochemical sensing platform for urease detection based on organic semiconductor heterojunction (PM6‐Y6) is constructed benefiting from the selective chemical reactivity of its organic building blocks.
