艾滋孤儿，是自20世纪90年代末期以来我国部分省份农村艾滋病疫情爆发的“附带品”。艾滋孤儿与一般性普通孤儿的最大区别就是家庭及其个人社会关系的全面断裂，形成了一个“关系孤岛”。那么，以政府为主体的针对艾滋孤儿的救助措施就应该从艾滋孤儿社会关系“孤岛”的断裂处出发，从艾滋孤儿的主体性出发，重新建构艾滋孤儿正常社会化的社会关系结构基础。
