Objective:This meta-analysis aimed to examine the relationship between the use of social networking sites and depression.Methods:Based on literature search,40 studies consisting 43 independent samples involving 41265 participants were identified.Meta-analysis was conducted using the CMA2.0.Results:The mean correlation between social network sites use and depression was 0.14,The moderating effect of the measurement of social networking sites was significant,however,the moderating effect of age and gender was not significant.Conclusion:...
