Multipath fading of wireless channel is a key factor affecting wireless communication performance. To overcome signal fading, MIMO system uses diversity techniques to deal with it. The combination of different diversity techniques can fatherly improve system performance in wireless environment. Researches have shown that spacetime coding techniques can improve wireless communication performance.
