The aim of multi-objective particle swarm optimizer (MOPSO) is to find an accurate and well-distributed approximation of the true Pareto Front (PF). The intrinsic character of PSO puts convergence first, which can cause great loss of population diversity. How to maintain the convergence and diversity simultaneously is an essential issue for MOPSO.
