以杨慎著述所释俗语词的构词法为研究对象，基于语义的构词法体系，把杨慎著述中所释俗语词的构词方式分为以双声、叠韵、非双声叠韵、拟声和音译为主的单纯词构词法，以同义、类义、互补为主的并立式合成词构词法，以表名物义和动作义的主语素参与构词、虚素附加构词为主的主从式合成词构词法。通过对不同俗语词构词法的分类与描写，为俗语词构词法的研究提供新的方法论视角，以期为俗语词造词法研究提供事实依据和理论前提。
