The reaction conditions of HCHO/NAD~/formaldehyde dehydrogenase catalytic system were studied. The spectrophotometry method for determination of HCHO was developed. The results showed that at temperature 35℃, pHT.0, after reacting 15 minutes, the products of catalytic system exhibited maximum absorption at 340nm, the linear range for determination of HCHO was found to be 0.01452-0.2904μmol/mL with a correlation coefficient of 0.9998 and the regression equation is A=2.6604C-0.02476(C:μmol/mL).
