This article demonstrates that the occurrence of N 腿 in sentences is driven by the Chi-nese grammatical tendency of shifting from implication to representation.Meanwhile,the language strategy of the occurrence of N 腿 conforms to S-language’s habitual patterns of language use.Chinese shows more analytic characteristics than other typologically simmilar languages.We hold that typo-logical study of Lexicalization of motion events should address the subject of self-contained motion.
