Kwok-kan Tarn is currently Professor at the Department of English, Chinese University of Hong Kong. He worked at the East-West Center, Honolulu after he obtained his Ph.D. in English and comparative literature from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, in 1984. His research interests are 20th-century Chinese-Western literary relationship, postcolonial English and literature, drama/theatre studies, and literary and cultural theories.
