从1993年起,王忠祥教授开始享受国务院“***”,在“七五”、“八五”、“九五”期间和“十五”前期（2001-2003年）,受聘为国家社科研究外国文学学科规划小组（学科评审组）成员。曾任中国外国文学学会副会长、湖北省社联委员、湖北省翻译工作者协会理事。现任华中师大文学院教授、英美文学和比较文学研究所所长、《外国文学研究》杂志名誉主编、中国外国文学学会名誉理事、全国高校外国文学教研会名誉理事、湖北省外国文学学会名誉会长。王忠祥教授从1980年以来多次为本科生、研究生开设“莎士比亚研究”课。共发表易卜生、莎士比亚系列、西方现代派系列及其他方面的论文共200多篇。王...
