盘古"日月眼生"化生神话与日本神话的影响关系虽早在千余年前便被提及,但日本学界一直存疑,时至今日质疑之声仍不绝于耳。日本学者多借"日月眼生"神话的普遍性以及盘古"日月眼生"神话出典是否在日本记纪神话成书之前就已传至日本等问题,来质疑盘古神话对日本神话的影响。盘古"日月眼生"神话与日本神话均属情节、结构完整的典型的化生神话,不可与简单的文学比喻等同;梳理盘古神话传播的底本,分析日本古文献中遗留的盘古神话研究痕迹,并考察日本古文献中研究资料里暗含的信息和两国神话之间的神话学关系,可驳日本学者质疑之声,证中国神话与日本神话之间的亲缘关系。

The Chinese creation myth has it that the first-born semidivine human Pangu creates Heaven and Earth and his eyes become the sun and the moon. Although it was documented more than a thousand years ago that the Pangu myth hads a great influence on Japanese mythology, such a claim has always been disputed in Japanese academia, and it is still very much so today.
