辛亥革命体现了面临内忧外患、存亡绝续危机的中华民族,不屈不挠寻求救亡图存、独立富强之路的优良传统,是我们现今不应忘却并且应该不断强化的历史记忆,对于维系海峡两岸一脉相承的血缘关系及其发展,也有着特殊的意义。辛亥革命的百年纪念应该具有＂百年＂特点,不仅需要还原辛亥革命的史实真相,探讨辛亥革命的得与失,而且还应总结海内外辛亥革命史研究的百年进程以及各个阶段的发展特点,用长程式与总体史的眼光,考察辛亥革命对中国百年来政治、经济、思想、文化、教育、外交以及整个社会发展变化的影响。
