Consensus reaching process is a useful decision tool to reduce the preference conflict among experts in multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM). Often, the consensus is reached by the experts adjusting their assessments to the extent of mutual agreement. Accordingly, the purpose of this article is to develop an improved consensus-based method with interval fuzzy number judgment matrix (IFJM).
