The IL-Cu@Cu2O aerogels were prepared by a simple wet-chemical method using NaBH4 as reducing agent [35]. To prove that the IL was absorbed in Cu@Cu2O aerogels surface, the Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) was performed in Fig. S1a.
