Elementary Analysis of Chinese Know ledge of Chamber of Commerce from the Late 19th Century to the Early 20th Century

本文主要分析了19世纪末20世纪初中国对商会的认识，认为此时期有从官办商会、官督商办商会、商办商会，有从保伸商权、开展“商战”，有从倡导地方自治等角度去认识商会，涉及到商会的开办方式、组织系统、营运程序、功能作用等诸多方面，进而分析了中国早期商会认识的社会背景与特点，指出其对当今新兴商会不无启发和借鉴意义。

The article has mainly analysed chin ese knowledge of chamber of commerce from the late 19th century to early 20th centruy.And then it considers that in the perrod the knowledge has various angles,including estab lishing chamber of commerce by government or by merchants or under government ' s supervision;protecting merchant ' s right,launching war in business competition;initiating local self -governme nt,and so on.It touchs upon chamber o f commerce' s many aspects,such as its starting w ays,organized system,business pro cedure and function.and further analyses the knowledge' s characteristi...
