Over the past decade, there has been a steady growth in the adoption of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education. This study seeks to systematically review the state of K-12 STEAM education in Latin America. The study analyzed 18 published articles from 2018 to 2022, that reported learning outcomes regarding to the application of STEAM strategies. The findings indicate that main benefits are: the female empowerment, the increased student engagement and motivation, and the development of students' creativity.
