朝鲜古乐谱是指15—20世纪初传承于宫廷和文人编撰的乐谱，其记谱法主要有两种，一种是中国系统的记谱法，如律吕谱、宫商字谱、工尺谱等，主要记录宫廷仪式音乐；另一种是朝鲜系统的记谱法，如五音略谱、合字谱、肉谱及井间谱等，主要记录文人音乐。朝鲜玄琴古谱主要采用这两种记谱法，但随着不同历史时期玄琴曲目的演变，其记谱法也随之不断演变。
