党的十八大以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央站在＂四个全面＂新的战略高度,系统论述了党的纪律建设思想,形成了一系列党的纪律建设的新理论、新实践、新制度。新时代习近平党的纪律建设思想既吸收与借鉴了马克思主义经典作家的思想内核,也遵循了中国共产党的优良传统,是当代马克思主义中国化的最新成果之一,是习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的重要组成部分。习近平党的纪律建设思想蕴含着科学的丰富内容,形成了具有鲜明特色的纪律建设思想,不仅丰富了中国共产党纪律建设的科学内涵,也为推动党的纪律建设向纵深发展提供了现实指导。
