The development of novel dithienylethene-based complexes is highly desirable for potential application in the photoresponsive optoelectronics. In this contribution, we designed and prepared four novel dithienylethene-containing isocyanides 9a-9d and their binuclear gold (I) complexes 3a-3d with various alkyl chains. They were fully characterized and confirmed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 19F NMR, and HRMS (ESI-TOF).
