A mine safety monitoring system is designed based on power line communication. In this system, STM32 F103 is used as the microcontroller of the system, combined with 7X-CO-1000 carbon monoxide sensor and 7X-CH4-5% methane sensor to collect gas volume fraction of toxic, flammable and explosive gases in underground. Various indicators are modulated to the power line by power line carrier chip ST7540 and transmitted to the ground for real-time monitoring of underground safety status.
