Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is considered as the third signaling molecule in vivo and it plays an important role in various physiological processes and pathological processes in vivo, such as vasodilation, apoptosis, neurotransmission, ischemia/reperfusion-induced injury, insulin secretion and inflammation.
