甾体我体蛋白-2（SCP-2）是介导昆虫胆固醇吸收和运输的一种重要载体蛋白，已在双翅目中被发现和鉴定。利用SDS—PAGE和westernblot鉴定鳞翅目昆虫棉铃虫和粉纹夜蛾离体培养细胞中SCP-2的存在，结果表明棉铃虫中肠组织和粉纹夜蛾TnSBl细胞中确实存在SCP-2蛋白。
