自然主义在英美哲学中尽管一直居主导地位，但由于所面对的待解释对象的复杂性及理论自身的不完善性，特别是在面对像现象意识、意向性这样一些待自然化的对象时困难重重，因此一直是最有争论、经常受到广泛而严厉批判的理论。对它的批判和超越主要来自于两个方面，一是内部的各种形式的还原主义和非经典自然主义，二是外部的以各种形式的非还原主义和多元主义表现出来的对立思潮。心灵哲学中的自然主义要摆脱困境，实现自身超越，出路之一是批判借鉴认知多元主义的成果，探索并建构以一元论为基础的本体论多元主义。

Naturalism has been playing a dominant role in anglo-American philosophy,however,being widely and severely criticized,naturalism is the most controversial theory due to the complexity of its explananda and the incompletement of the theory per se,especially in face of the objects to be naturalized like phenomenal consciousness and intentionality.The criticisms are from two main views:one is from varieties of reductionism and non-classical naturalism originated from the theory itself;the other is from the opposing theories in the form of non-reductionism and pluralism.This paper will discuss abo...
