由于历史的原因,出于统一的需要,秦在统一以前尚武之风强盛。统一后,为了巩固江山,统治者采取了在军队中倡武,在民间禁武的政策。秦军中的倡武促进了武术的发展,但民间禁武的结果却是复杂的,一方面阻碍了武术的发展,另一方面却是禁而不止的。角抵的出现、流行,就是一个很好的例证。

In order to defend the unitary, before unitary, the condition of valuing martial arts is prominent .After unifing, due to strengthen the country , the ruler adopted the policy of advocating martial arts in army and prohibiting it in countryside .Advocating martial arts in army promoted the developing of martial arts .
