随着新中国人民政府的建立,同业公会即面临着协助党和政府开展社会主义改造的新课题。本文以北京旅店业同业公会为例,力图揭示同业组织是如何协助新政权进行改造及其自身的历史命运。1956年初,党和政府在准备尚不充分的情况下加速推进行业改造,引发了改造风暴,同业公会从组织会员进行思想动员到协助政府进行经济改造,发挥了重要的专业统战作用。但社会主义制度改造消除了同业公会存在的经济基础,改造中建立起来的互助组直接受政府领导,发挥着同业公会原本发挥的统战功能,加上中共意识形态的影响,协助改造者最终在改造使命完成后,其自身也走向了终结。

Following the foundation of the People＇ s Republic of China, guilds were facing a new chal- lenge of assisting the government in socialist transformation. Taking the guild of Beijing hotels as an exam- ple, the paper attempts to reveal how the guilds assisted the new regime with transformation as well as their own historical experiences.
